Daniels is an idiot. He's the reason we have empty buildings in Public Education currently. I'm not saying charter schools are bad, just that Mitch has no clue what is going on and no concern for it either.

Joe....I think you missed the point of the article. Daniels may very well have been part of the reason a public school closed somewhere in the the state. But here, he is advocating some serious common sense here–that empty schools not be held hostage by their districts but be allowed for use by fledgling charter schools.
